On April 30, 2017, in honor of October 1 – International Day of Older Persons, a special event was organized by the Executive Power of the Sabunchu District, with the support of Milli Majlis deputy Dilara Jabrayilova, the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs, and Saglam Ailə Medical Center.
During the event, elderly couples who had been married for 67 and 65 years were honored. These inspiring individuals, serving as role models for younger generations, shared the secrets of their long-lasting marriages and spoke about the care and support they receive from the President and society.
Among the distinguished guests were:
- Rena Farajova, Deputy Head of the Sabunchu District Executive Power
- Sadagat Gahramanova, Deputy Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs
- Latafat Hajieva, Head of the District Civil Registry Office
These exemplary long-living families were awarded special prizes.
Additionally, Nigar Rustamli, Head of Public Relations at Saglam Ailə Medical Center, presented them with vouchers for free comprehensive medical check-ups.
