On November 15, 2017, a special session of the Caspian Energy Medical Forum dedicated to healthcare was held in Baku.
The business forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elsevar Aghayev. In his speech, Elsevar Aghayev welcomed the board members of the Caspian European Club and congratulated them on their elections. He emphasized that the club’s close cooperation with government institutions has had a positive impact on Azerbaijan’s economy.
"Our doors are always open to Azerbaijani entrepreneurs in the medical sector," he stated. Elsevar Aghayev also provided insights into ongoing healthcare reforms in Azerbaijan, highlighting that 875 private medical companies and 2,378 pharmaceutical companies have received licenses to date.

On the same day, main elections for the Board of the Caspian European Club and the Caspian American Club took place.

- Heads of sectoral clubs of the Caspian European Club
- President of the Medical Club
- Vugar Eyvazov, Director of "Saglam Ailə" Medical Centers
- Anar Bayramov, President of the Financial Club
They expressed gratitude to the Deputy Minister for his participation and for facilitating the first official meeting between the Club and the Ministry of Health.
At the business forum, Elsevar Aghayev was awarded a certificate of honorary membership of the Caspian European Club and the Caspian American Club.
