On October 8, 2022, in honor of International Teachers' Day, a free medical campaign was organized for war veterans who are teachers and the families of martyrs. The initiative was led by the Azerbaijan Association of Volunteer Doctors and Facharzt, with the support of the Saglam Aile Medical Center, the Social Services Agency, and the State Employment Agency.
A group of Azerbaijani doctors from Germany and specialists from the Saglam Aile Medical Center conducted free medical examinations. The team included:
- Ophthalmologist – Vusal Hamidli
- ENT specialist, head and neck surgeon – Rashad Novruzov
- ENT specialist and facial surgeon – Javid Huseynzade
- Vascular surgeon – Sahib Shikhaliev
- Traumatologist-orthopedist – Ravan Aliyev
- Urologist-oncologist – Hikmat Ismayilov
- Therapist – Parvin Jafarov
- Dentist – Nariman Jabbarov
Doctors from Saglam Aile Medical Center:
- Neurologist – Gulnar Verdiyeva
- Gynecologist – Sevgin Bayramzade
- Dermatovenerologist – Ilham Igidov
- Pediatricians – Khanim Ahmadova, Kamala Rustamova
- Radiology specialists – Zemfira Hajiyeva, Dilara Umudova, Oktay Kazimov, Anar Zulfugarov, and Elnura Alimirzayeva
Patients also received free laboratory tests based on doctors' recommendations. Those diagnosed with medical conditions were prescribed appropriate treatment plans, and surgical procedures will be performed for patients requiring further intervention in the next phase. The project is planned to be carried out in multiple phases.
At the end of the day, the organizers held a media briefing. In total, 504 medical services were provided to citizens as part of the campaign.
