On August 3-4, 2013, the "Young Blood Donor School" was organized by the "Youth Contribution" Public Union with financial support from the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The project was implemented in partnership with the Baku City Youth and Sports Department, "Saglam Ailə" Medical Center, and the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS).
A total of 35 young participants, including university and high school graduates as well as professionals from various fields, took part in the project.
At the Young Blood Donor School, specialists from "Saglam Ailə" Medical Center and the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society provided comprehensive training on:
- Blood donation procedures
- Bloodborne diseases
- Voluntary blood donation
- And other important topics related to donor safety and health.
Educational materials, including books and brochures on blood donation, published within the framework of the project, were distributed to participants.
At the end of the project, participants received certificates recognizing their completion of the "Young Blood Donor School."
