On May 13, the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized an awareness event in Sabirabad District for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Zangilan.
The event aimed to promote:
- Healthy lifestyles
- The importance of premarital medical examinations
- Reproductive health awareness, particularly among youth
- Family planning
- The risks of early marriage and the consequences of harmful habits

Speakers addressed the importance of improving public health and lifestyle choices, especially for children, women, and youth. They discussed effective measures to help people overcome harmful habits and how these efforts contribute to a steadily improving quality of life in the country.
Medical Check-Ups & Services
As part of the International Day of Families, Saglam Ailə Medical Center arranged mobile medical screenings for women and children. In addition, individuals who underwent check-ups were provided with vouchers for a free "Clinical Blood Test" in Baku.
